A defined first engagement

Find out what is really getting in the way and what to fix first.

The Operational Performance Diagnostic gives leaders an evidence-based view of a process, reporting or delivery problem before time and budget are committed to a larger solution.

When it is useful

The symptoms are costing time or confidence, but the right intervention is still unclear.

01

Reporting takes too long and still does not give leadership a dependable view.

02

Work slows down between teams, with repeated escalation and unclear ownership.

03

Projects and priorities compete without one reliable portfolio view.

04

A process or tool has changed, but adoption and benefits are not visible.

How the diagnostic works

A simple route from an unclear problem to a confident decision.

The exact scope follows the problem. LUKiN uses evidence that already exists and focused input from the people closest to the work.

01

Your starting point

The real situation

  • The symptoms and their business impact
  • Existing reports, data or process information
  • Access to the people closest to the problem
02

How we work together

Three focused stages

  1. FocusA leadership conversation to agree the decision, boundaries and key questions.
  2. ExamineA review of existing evidence and focused conversations with the people who know the work.
  3. TestLUKiN connects the findings, tests the root causes and checks the conclusions with the relevant people.
03

What you receive

Clarity to act

  • A clear definition of the problem and its causes
  • Actions prioritised into now, later and do not do
  • A practical route with owners, measures and next steps

The diagnostic is useful on its own. Any further implementation support is proposed separately and only where it adds value.

The output

A decision-ready view of what should happen next.

The final output is built for action: findings that can be explained to the leadership team, a prioritised improvement plan and clear ownership for the next step.

Problem statementThe issue, scope and operational consequence stated clearly.
Evidence and root causesWhat the work and data show, including where friction enters the system.
Prioritised actionsWhat to fix now, what can wait and what should not be changed.
Implementation routeRecommended ownership, sequence, measures and support needed.

Before a first conversation

Questions leaders usually ask.

Is the diagnostic only for large transformation programmes?

No. It is designed for a defined operational, reporting or delivery problem. The organisation may need a targeted improvement rather than a broad transformation.

What information does LUKiN need?

The work normally uses existing reports, process information and selected conversations with the people closest to the problem. The exact evidence is agreed when the scope is defined.

Does the diagnostic commit us to a larger project?

No. The output is designed to be useful on its own. If implementation support would add value, it is proposed separately after the findings are clear.

Can the diagnostic cover more than one team?

Yes. Many operational problems sit between functions. The scope can follow the process, information or decisions across the teams involved.

What happens from the first conversation to the final output?

LUKiN first agrees the decision and scope with leadership. The diagnostic then reviews existing evidence and gathers focused input from the people closest to the work. The findings are tested before LUKiN delivers the root causes, priorities and a practical route forward.

A useful first step

Describe what is becoming harder to run, see or control.

LUKiN will assess whether a focused diagnostic is the right starting point and explain what evidence and people would be needed.
